Job description

Role Purpose:

Lead the digital and AI transformation strategy for Syngenta India, driving innovation across customer, channel, and field force touchpoints. Collaborate with AMEA regional teams and India’s commercial, sales, and marketing teams to deliver impactful digital platforms and applications

Key Responsibilities:


           Leadership and Strategy:

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital business partners.
  • Align digital and AI initiatives with organizational goals.

    Digital and AI Transformation:
  • Drive digital and AI transformation initiatives to enhance business processes and customer engagement
  • Ensure the successful implementation and commercialization of digital and AI solutions.

    Customer Experience:
  • Ensure consistency and quality of customer experience across all digital channels.
  • Optimize the customer journey and enhance engagement through digital platforms.

    Innovation and Ecosystem Partnerships:
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and technology providers.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital and AI.

    Performance Measurement and Optimization:
  • Promote the adoption of innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Define and monitor metrics to evaluate the success of digital and AI programs.

    Talent Development:
  • Grow and elevate the capabilities of the digital transformation team
  • Oversee the acquisition of critical talent to develop a best-in-class digital unit.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years in digital transformation or AI, with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of AI, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems.
  • Proven success in leading digital initiatives.

  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Builds a culture of innovation and supports creativity.
  • Proactive communication and alignment with stakeholders.
  • Manages performance, skillfully planning, organizing, and monitoring to achieve excellence.
