Day Support CPT

Misc Inters Plant is the manufacturing stream for the production of Agrochemical Active Ingredients.

The plant and processes are controlled via automated and manual operations. The computer-controlled functions are done so via a Computer Control System. The plant is naturally divided into five processing units and run as an integrated production team of 23 Chemical Process Technician’s, two support CPT’s.

• Support the manufacture of active ingredients on a dedicated packing line.
• Support of chemical operations across the entire plant.
• Assist in stock control and safe storage.
• Support of maintenance operations on the plant.
• Work safely, efficiently & flexibly across the process & plant.
• Fill packages on a dedicated packing line, including preparation of packages and equipment.
• Manage chemical tanker unloading and loading to and from plant storage vessels.
• To co-ordinate and direct operations for raw materials, wastes & final products. Receipt of deliveries and despatch of final finished goods. These duties are carried out largely unsupervised and require self-management and prioritization.
• Support quality control sampling and testing.
• Performs asset care duties.
• Manages stock control and assist with waste management.
• Manage local PPE stores.
• Liaise with production support.

• Ideally, a minimum of three years’ experience operating a chemical process plant or similar manufacturing environment.
• Relevant qualification in process operation or chemical material management.
