Here is how this role will be critical to our business:

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to lead the Data systems, networks and data projects for the site. Duties include collection, organization, storing, analysis and creation of real time dashboards of company data as effectible and rapidly as possible while also safeguarding the security and confidentiality standards.

In this role, the Crops and Operations planning will be included to ensure to collect activity-based planning and costs, support the weekly and monthly activity tracking data.

Accountabilities

•            Create and enforce policies and protocols for effective data management with support from Quality specialist

•            Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data

•            Plan and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects

•            Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.

•            Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards

•            Assist with reports and data extraction when needed

•            Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)

•            Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications

Essential for this position:

• BS in computer science, agriculture or relevant field related to Data management (MS in Research or Data Scientist desired)
• Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, visualization)
• Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
• Data analyst and programing software (R, Phyton, or similar).
• Data visualization (Power Bi, Power Apps, or similar)
• An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. excellent communication and collaboration skills
• English proficient: written and speaking
• Travel availability (national and international).
• Flexible schedule to work over extended hours, weekends and holidays
• Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
• Able to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to management
• Excellent leadership, team building and interpersonal skills, especially those required to successfully perform as part of a cross-functional team. 
• Excellent analytical, organizing, planning and problem-solving skills. 
• Capacity to innovate in a focused and product-oriented manner.
• The ability to function effectively as a team member and to perform detailed work is necessary.
