What do we offer?

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work on smart manufacturing or digital transformation-related projects. You will get hands-on experience in data collection, data analysis & interpretation, and visualization of both time series process data, and manufacturing/operational data.

 

Role & Responsibility

  • KEY: Support data-related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, perform data analysis & interpretation and visualization of both time series process data, and manufacturing/operational data. Report insights and help users to make decisions and find improvement opportunities.
  • Engaging cross-functional stakeholders (regional and country) to understand user requirements (voice of customer) and ensure data accuracy and availability.
  • Extract data from data platforms (database, machines, and sensors), track, analyse and report Key Performance index (KPIs) & operational status. KPI may include but not limited to: Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Energy Performance index and CO2 footprint, material track & trace, operator time tracking etc. Tools may include SEEQ, Python, SQL, and batch scripting.
  • Perform data cleaning and data wrangling for analysis and analytics modelling.
  • Update regional operational dashboard. Tools may include Power Platform, SEEQ, and QlikView.
  • Support implementation of digital tier meeting dashboard through data automation and analysis solutions.
  • Perform review of on digitalization project initiatives to ensure timely completion and value delivery.
  • Deliver the expected output of these projects by the end of your internship period (e.g., a report, an analysis, a presentation etc).
  • Liaise with external suppliers or vendors to resolve issue when needed.

Qualifications

Skills required

  • Data management and analytic skills.
  • Attention to details with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Coherent and clear written and verbal skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Keen to contribute & not shy to share their thoughts with the team.
  • Strong interest with manufacturing and production operations.
  • Interested on new smart manufacturing technologies, sustainability, industry trends.
  • Experience with technologies and data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView will be a strong plus.

Qualifications

  • Background of Process Engineering, Industrial System Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent education program are welcomed.
  • Proficient level with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint).
  • Able to commit to a 5 - 6 months full-time internship.
