Job description

Syngenta believes every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, the North America Vegetable Seeds team is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Woodland, CA. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining solid relationships with assigned customer base. 
  • Supply timely responses regarding product, pricing, and program information.
  • Provide customer service by answering phone calls, message taking and assisting with transactions.
  • Respond to all questions from customers in an efficient manner while always maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Tracking of all shipments. This includes obtaining and generating all necessary documentation.
  • Responsible for notifying customers and Account Manager of their shipment with all necessary information, including tracking details, timelines, etc.
  • Provide support to Syngenta Vegetable Seeds Platform, assist in other office duties as needed.

Qualifications

What Sets You Apart:

  • Associate Degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing or related field, and, OR
  • 3+ years’ experience in Horticulture, Agronomy, or Agribusiness
  • Strong data processing and & analytical acumen
  • Experience in working as part of multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Focus on creating value for our customers.
