Customer Marketing Specialist

In this role, as the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for helping execute touchpoints with excellence through efficient processes that deliver a meaningful customer experience in a consistent and collaborative manner that is on-brand and in line with the vision and goals of the Business. You will also be responsible for the project management and execution of targeted digital campaigns using Pardot (marketing automation platform). You will also act as the lead for the NK Seed Website management and lead the social media strategy.

 Location: This role is flexible and could be based from Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB or  anywhere across Canada. 

What will you be doing? 

• Participate in the overall Seeds campaign plan development, collaborating with Customer Marketing team
• Support the execution and development of many types of tactics including collateral, media, social media, public relations, email, video, presentations, sales support materials, event co-ordination and content development
• Collaborate with the Seeds Customer Marketing team and advertising agency to ensure smooth, effective, on-time delivery of tactics
• Manage and execute all digital touchpoints as they relate to email and social media communications (Twitter, Facebook).
• Maintain websites, ensuring all information is current.
• Create new landing pages to support various marketing campaign efforts as required (events/rsvps)
• This is a 12-month-long contract postion. 

What gives you an advantage?

• Minimum of 3 years of marketing communications and project management experience.
• 2+ years of experience executing in a marketing automation platform – Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.
• Agriculture Industry experiences 
• Social media Execution Experience with Social Media and social Listening Tools
• Exceptional communication, (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Java, InDesign, Photoshop a plus Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, email, and basic graphics experience
• Strong Project Management – Ability to prioritize and manage several projects and responsibilities simultaneously
• Excellent creativity skills coupled with a strong customer-focused orientation
• Relationship-focused.  A history of having healthy working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and external suppliers, and customers.
• Action-Oriented.  Ability to recognize potential problems or new developments and take prompt remedial action where necessary to meet customer expectations and business requirements.
