At Syngenta, we are working to create the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. We are currently seeking a Customer Account Specialist for the Customer Service Team in Greensboro, NC.

Accountabilities:

  • Establishing and maintain excellent relationships with assigned client base.
  • Supply timely responses regarding product, pricing and program information; Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all order management and fulfillment transactions.
  • Anticipates customer needs based on sound understanding of their business and current market and environmental dynamics and develops approaches that maximize business opportunities; proactively find new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts.
  • Identifies and initiates necessary action to resolve issues between customer requirements and Syngenta’s ability to fulfill those requirements; Proactively communicates and/or escalates any product or order fulfilment issue(s) and proposed resolution(s) to all affected stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with key commercial stakeholders in support of overall sales and customer retention goals.
  • Work with others to identify Centers of Influence (COI) and develop plans to strengthen relationships.
  • Actively utilizes the strength of the team to meet order requirements and develop in-bound & out-bound customer relationships.
  • Exercise good judgment and apply relevant knowledge to resolve difficult situations.
  • Ability to understand the financial impact of decisions.
  • Identifies business opportunities and develops and implements required tactics.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (commerce, agriculture, science) preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • General understanding of Agriculture as it relates to Crop Protection, Seeds, and/or Farming practices.
  • General understanding of business processes related to order fulfilment (materials planning/inventory management/logistics and supply chain processes).
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP system.
  • Experience in a role that required excellent organization and management of multiple competing priorities under tight time constraints Authorized to work in the United States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
