Facilities & Real Estate Service Delivery

  • Manage the Facilities Management contract at a site(s) level and oversee all the required services are being delivered to specification (security, engineering maintenance, cleaning, catering heating, lighting and Real Estate).
  • Liaising with supplier organization, business partners, key internal stakeholders and external contacts to support the smooth delivery of the local operations. Act as the first escalation point for any issues.
  • Be responsible for preparing and agreeing the site budgets with SFM Head (s), SFM Finance and SFM supplier, monitor spending and accruals.
  • Review the supplier delivery against the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the site with the SFM supplier and Area and/or Regional Lead.
  • Monitor supplier performance via the Local SFM supplier contact.
  • Update and maintain the Syngenta Property Database and Real Estate Tracker.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Syngenta employees, SFM supplier and external. contractors not delivering services performed by the SFM partners on site. Ensure that all site activities meet all internal and external legal, HSE, Letter of Assurance, fiscal and compliance requirements and that all corporate standards are understood and implemented appropriately, report any gaps.
  • Work closely with relevant subject matter experts to ensure that service delivery protocols are in line with Syngenta and Legislative Requirements.
  • Accountable for delivering projects in time, cost and quality within the sites.
  • Support the delivery of Capital, Maintenance and Operational projects performed on the site(s) in scope where applicable.
  • Assume Legal Accountability for local operations on site(s) where relevant.

Fleet Operations

  • Oversee and manage in compliance with all national / international rules and regulations, the full operative aspect of fleet – either as tool of trade, benefits and/or pool vehicles, for all business units and the geography of accountability. Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends
  • Ensure compliance with all global / regional strategic fleet initiatives including TCO reduction, continuous improvement and innovation, best practices, compliance, environmental targets
  • Liaise with the fleet suppliers, Indirect Procurement team, Syngenta personnel, key internal stakeholders in the geography of accountability to support the smooth delivery of the fleet operations. Act as the first escalation point for Syngenta personnel and fleet supply chain for any issue / non-performance from the outsourced fleet management partners.
  • Maintain the company Fleet Management System (FMS) and specific data bases of sales, registration, inspections, fuel and maintenance of fleet management.
  • Implement together with HSE and other key stakeholders (e.g. D&L) and external partners, driver training programs (i.e. driver safety and compliance)

Qualifications

  • 7 to 15 years of experience in Facility management, Real Estate management and/or Fleet management is preferred
  • Strong experience in contract management with key suppliers
  • Governance and leadership of local site operations
  • Operational delivery of services on a site level
  • Ability to act as a key local contact/facilitator with Syngenta/Third Party
  • Ability to manage and deliver SFM project across the sites
