Location: Mexico City

You will be part of Finance team and will lead Credit Operations area in Mexico.

Here is how this role will be critical to our business

Purpose:

Provide high quality, consistent and full operational service support to the local Credit, Finance and Sales organization based on the defined local TFCM policy and the respective processes

Accountabilities:

• Execute all activities included in the territory TFCM Policy (see latest updated LAN TFCM Policy).

• Lead and implement actions and decisions on all ""Basic"" rating customers in the portfolio. Support and drive the guidelines established for ""Standard"" and ""Extensive"" rating customers.

• Ensure timely and high quality inputs and outputs of Credit Limit / Credit Facility yearly renewal process. Follow up on status of review and approval to ensure whole process is successfully executed.

• Report, on a monthly basis, on actuals and estimations of Key Performance Indicators of the Credit and Collection Function, such as DSO, Collection Turnover, Collection % over sales, AR Overdue, Payment Clearance / Depuration, Cash Flow generation, etc.

• Smooth interaction with AFO and follow up on open issues and operational execution of tasks captured in CARD system and in the collection strategies.

• Follow up on open items such as unapplied cash, account clearance issues, open Credit Notes, cash discount compensation, financing interest charges.

This role will be the responsible to assist and support all audit processes (internal & external) and to perform and execute all controls defined in the ICF (Internal Control Framework)

Qualifications

Essential for this position:

• Professional experience: 3 to 5 years in similar roles in agrochemical industry (desirable)

• Academic background: Degree in Accounting and/or Finance (accounting, banking, finance, insurance industries)

•Language: Spanish (mandatory) and English fluent (desirable)

• Functional competences: Attention to detail and administrative tasks Independence and integrity demonstrated as a strong concern for standards.

Continuous improvement process orientation. Working in a complex matrix and international environment. Dealing with changing and occasionally conflicting priorities. Meet all reporting deadlines of both the company and local fiscal and audit requirements, as well as meeting deadlines required by risk mitigation tolls.

• Functional skills: Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams to deliver results. Communicate effectively. Achieve goals. Be decisive. Develop yourself. Promote teamwork. Built trust. Lead change. Customer management. Tech awareness and innovation

• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of financial statements and key ratios, and their meanings to creditworthiness of customers. Knowledge of the country’s economics, customer base, and the general business environment.

Good knowledge of the company’s ERP systems regarding Credit & Collection modules (such as FSCM - CARD). Ability to manage the required steps for an effective collection and customer account management in SAP ERP systems. Sound financial / accounting knowledge of details in processes related to collection, payment compensation, invoice depuration, open balances, credit memo and discounts compensation.
