Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

The role involves managing CP Supply Planning, Replenishment, and Goods Purchasing processes in SAP, while also facilitating the IBP CP pre-SOP for Romania. This includes preparing for meetings, handling USF, CSF, and Return lines, as well as following up on post-meeting actions. The position requires maintaining accurate master data across various systems, supporting artwork coordination, and ensuring timely, high-quality supply in line with the sales plan. Overall, this role is crucial for optimizing supply chain operations and aligning them with sales objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Handle material management process (AGI codes creation, changes in MDM)
  • Maintain and ensure accurate master data in SAP and rest related platforms, like IBP, TS and etc.
  • Prepare process of IBP CP pre-SOP (MDM validation, act sales validation and etc.)
  • Facilitate IBP CP pre-SOP to capture accurately USF (unconstraint sales forecast / market opportunities), CSF (constraint sales forecast / financial commitments), returns and actions
  • Deputize BA Demand Planning Lead within the countries scope of the position
  • Follow up off-meeting actions linked to IBP cycle
  • Analyze statistical data and maintain stat forecast line to support decision making during the IBP CP pre-SOP
  • Support marketing and sales teams in developing/maintaining sales lines in IBP
  • Develop, maintain and coordinate CP Supply plan (tactical), replenishment proposals and purchase orders in fully alignment with the IBP sales plans and regional guidance
  • Reflect properly downside and upsides during the IBP CP pre-SOP and after in all related to tools and files
  • Follow up of E2E purchase orders with great collaboration with region and customer service
  • Support artwork coordinator with full alignment with local marketing and regulatory
  • Prepare reports in line with business requirements within the scope of the role
  • Actively support Customer Service in daily operations
  • Proactively support redeployments and other initiatives linked to flexibility in supply

Qualifications

  • Experience of min. 3 years in Customer Service, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics roles
  • Experience in international logistics and Dangerous Good Transportation
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems – SAP is an advantage
  • An understanding of the Agrobusiness, market drivers, customer behaviors, buying patterns, and offers of Syngenta
  • Understanding of general HSE and Quality management systems and challenges
  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Agricultural sciences and / or Supply Chain and / or Commerce and / or Business Administration
  • Fluent in English
  • Continuously learning and following legislation related to our products, customs, dangerous goods transport
  • Collaboration skills with working interfaces
  • Ability to analyze data to form information, reach conclusions and make strategic recommendations
  • Experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence
