To be part of the Integrated Logistics Team in Syngenta Crop Protection, guaranteeing the management and control of all demands related to Projects Management and Digital Transformation, connected with our Supply Chain agenda, ensuring business continuity, and supporting process sustainability in a dynamic transformation agenda. Lead the Logistics Projects and Digital Transformation process, which covers all logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Engage the team to better understand the business needs, expectations, and opportunities improving SLA fulfillment and challenges;
• Working on long-term solutions that influence strategic choices to better support the business ambitions;
• Work closely with the Supply, Production, and IT Leads to improve the transformation agenda through project and initiatives;
• Build strong relationships with internal/external partners ensuring Supply Chain efficiency and enhancement aligned with the business needs;
• Design and implement new solutions driven by the Syngenta Growth Plan Strategy;
• Design and implement processes and systems solutions enhancing Logistics and Supply Chain Performance;
• Ensure that all projects/initiatives are aligned with the transformation agenda in the Supply Chain strategy;
• Be aware and identify potential opportunities from internal or external functions;
• Be an ambassador of Change Management supporting strategic initiatives design and implementation;
• Lead the Logistics Project Portfolios;
• Design and Lead Strategic Programs, Projects and ensure the Logistics’ continuous improvement journey;
• Flexibility to provide program and project management expertise to the Team (share knowledge);
• Lead the execution of strategic projects linked to long-term strategy;

Essential skills

• Academic degree level or equivalent
• Strong ability to navigate cross-functionally
• Strong understanding of project delivery phases and project methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, PMI, Agile)
• Ability to lead projects by project management methodologies (Waterfall & Agile approach)
• Understand Six Sigma concepts and tools (continuous improvement)
• Ability to make use of statistics and data analysis to analyze and reduce errors or defects
• Have knowledge related to the Change Management approach and methodology
• Knowledge of general concepts of D&A and Digital Transformation
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in making things happen (executing)
• English fluency.

Desirable skills

• Experience in Supply Chain mainly in Logistics;
• Knowledge of SQL scripts;
• Basic Qlik Sense knowledge;
• General Knowledge related to CO2 emission calculation metrics;
• MBA or equivalent;
• Spanish intermediate;
• Knowledge about local legislation on chemicals transports, storage, and LTO requirements.
