Comprador Senior

You will be part of  procurement team and will support: procure an assigned services portfolio for Capex Engineering Category ( Equipments / Services) and Opex Engineering and Utilities/ Wate  – US$ 25 mi annual spend,  ensuring tecnical requirements, on time, on specification supply delivering minimum total cost of ownership. Establish purchasing tenders, negotiate prices and establish contracts or orders in line with demand. Provide local market knowledge / intelligence for components within the portfolio. Business Partnering with main Stakeholders.

• Detailed knowledge of purchasing systems (desirable SAP and  Ariba knowledge);
• Ability to handle detailed information and analyse and extract critical issues
• Good knowledge of supply markets (Engineering and Utilities/ Waste  Categories and dependant cost drivers;
• Working knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures;
• Negotiation, contract creation, and  management skills  of equipment and engineering service providers;
• Ability to build up and maintain good communication internally and with suppliers;
• Stakeholder Mangement;
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross functional teams; organisation skills;
• Excel - Intermediate Level;
• Strong implementation skills;
• English – Minimum  Intermediate level  (desirable Advanced)
