We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager (m/f) to develop and implement our competitive regional and local compensation and benefits policies for South Europe. Reporting to the regional Reward Team, you will be a key partner in supporting the company's strategy in this area.

This is a permanent position, located at the Syngenta site in Guyancourt (78) or Saint Sauveur (31).

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing and implementing competitive compensation, sales incentive and benefits programs, in line with Syngenta's compensation philosophy and within the company's financial plan.
  • Providing consulting support to HR teams and managers on compensation and benefits topics, taking into account business needs, legal constraints, financial and socio-economic factors in different countries.
  • Deploying global and regional compensation and benefits processes and policies at the local level, ensuring consultation with social partners where applicable.
  • Contributing to influencing global compensation policies by representing regional and business perspectives and needs.
  • Participating in various global projects such as benchmarking, job evaluations, job level validation, etc.
  • Ensuring the implementation of global/regional annual processes (compensation review, salary surveys, etc.) and associated communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of benefits frameworks in the countries under your responsibility, including associated communication.
  • Supporting the implementation of the "total cost of employment" concept for benefits.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

You ideally have 10 to 15 years of solid experience in designing and delivering compensation and benefits programs. You have a good understanding of regional/local and specifically the French legislation and practices.

You are recognized for your excellent communication, consulting and influencing skills, including at senior levels. Your analytical and project management skills are key assets. You understand business strategy and plans.

You are able to work effectively in a multicultural and matrix environment. You can interact with senior management and respond effectively to sensitive or confidential inquiries.

Fluency in English & French is essential. Italian/Spanish knowledge is a plus.
