Job Purpose:

  • Deliver compelling communications content to engage l stakeholders in the Syngenta US Crop Protection business.
  • Support editorial and communication digital tools that support CP Communications, including appropriate social media, video, podcasts, e-newsletters, news source (Sharepoint, Teams, mySyngenta) channels. Monitor metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness.
  • Leverage communications to drive business reputation and employee engagement.

Duties:

  • Assisting with the development of innovative and engaging communications campaigns to support business priorities and enhance employee engagement for Syngenta US Crop Protection.
  • Support and deliver communications content for Crop Protection, with a focus on progress against strategy, leader visibility, new product introductions, and customer focus. Leverage digital communications tools to deliver content.
  • Assist with writing, editorial, and communication digital tools that support CP Communications, including appropriate social media, video, podcasts, e-newsletters, news source (Sharepoint, Teams, mySyngenta) channels. Monitor metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness.
  • Provide support as needed on change and transformation programs for Syngenta US Crop Protection.
  • Provide support as needed to Crop Protection Communications colleagues.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Crop Protection business managers and communicators across Syngenta.

This person will work in our Greensboro, NC location in a flexible/hybrid work setting so must live in the Triad region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism
  • 1-4 years of communications experience
  • Able to develop communication plans and campaigns, with an output to deliver results
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Technical capabilities with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Teams); willingness to learn digital tools such as Zoom, Staffbase, and Sharepoint
  • Ability to work within a matrix in a complex global organization, and across different functions, in a diverse and changing environment
  • Learn and understand editorial style and branding practices
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in-person and virtually
