Cloud Applications Engineer

· Design and build cloud-native applications adhering to best practices in coding, security, and design patterns.

· Proficient in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3, DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

· Experience in backend development with Python and Golang.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

· Collaborate with the development team to define and implement scalable cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

· Design, develop, and implement AI models with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance information retrieval and generation processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RAG models into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless operation and high performance.

· Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and GenAI technologies, applying relevant findings to improve existing models and develop new solutions.

· Optimize RAG models for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy, addressing challenges related to data retrieval, processing, and generation.

· Develop and maintain documentation for RAG systems, including design specifications, testing protocols, and user guides.

· Manage the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

· Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

· Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

· Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve reliability and efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

· Write comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, design decisions, and coding guidelines.

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge by providing technical advice and mentorship.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with business applications.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

· 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on cloud-based solutions.

· Experience in backend development with Python and Golang.

· Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Professional Developer).

· Advanced knowledge of React and other relevant web technologies.

· Proven track record of deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

· Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration principles.

· Proficiency in implementing IaC using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation etc.

· Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

· Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
