 Role purpose: -

·         Guide marketing activities to ensure that communication and campaigns are in alignment with the strategic business direction.

·         Enhance Syngenta visual presence

·         Gather market intelligence through field visits and market survey to build an accurate I-plan

·         Lead the digital marketing transformation

  • Enhance and communicates Syngenta /Product value proposition through unique marketing strategies
  • Work with agencies to propose innovative tools and tactics for effective and appropriate touchpoints, ensure alignment of key messages, campaign theme at all levels
  • Work directly with the Marketing Head to ensure that marketing communication plans are developed and executive in a consistent quality manner, adhere to the brand architecture guidelines and build the described brand image
  • Plan and implement advertising and publicity campaigns so that brand equity is optimized and customer strategies are supported.
  •  Investigate and implement new promotion & communication techniques in response to a changing market dynamic
  • Monitor and follow up on A&P implementation
  • Create all brand marketing communication

Accountabilities: -

  • Provide guidance and monitor overall advertising and promotion expenditures to capture efficiencies and maximize effectiveness

·         Explore new communications and media options to reach and impact the end-user grower customer and channel partners as appropriate.

·         Manage overall working relationship to ensure that teams are properly staffed according to resources and that day to day working teams are strong and highly functional.

  •  Assist in the development of marketing communication strategies and plans to meet campaign objectives.
  • Communicate A&P plans to Sales and other Syngenta departments to ensure effective implementation and co-ordination.
  • Analyze and Measure the success of our various communication media and marketing activities to determine value capture vs. cost incurred.
  • Support the necessary activities to ensure business continuity.
  • General support to Customer Marketing Activities.
  • Participate effectively in account plan building.
  • Campaign creation based on Syngenta strategic direction for different segments
  • Arrange top Notch launching activities
  • Create and submit the BCs on the project planner

 


Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

 

-       Critical knowledge

 

·         Minimum of BS degree.

·         Must have strong knowledge of marketing and communications principles

·         Knowledge of customer relationship marketing and branding principles, and industry measurement and standards (benchmarks)

·         Overall understanding of the role of individual marketing disciplines and demonstrated knowledge of effective use in overall marketing and CRM campaigns

-       Critical experience

 

·         Minimum of 3 years of communication experience with some experience managing communications in a corporate environment

·         Agriculture industry experience necessary

·         Demonstrated in developing and implementing communications plans across a complex and diverse business

 

-       Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

 

·         Strategic thinking capability – can distill information into strategic communications frameworks

·         Superior oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to manage several projects and responsibilities simultaneously

·         Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information

·         Thrive working in a team environment

·         Build rapport within Marketing Services and across Syngenta functions

·         Ability to work with senior management levels of the organization effectively

·         Proficient computer skills

·         Fluent English language (written and spoken)
