Branding and Operations Manager

Job description

In this role, you will lead a team of marketing project managers and creative subject matter experts. You will supervise the creation of the annual marketing campaign plan and assist in executing and implementing its tactics. 

Accountabilities:

  • Manage and lead the Branding & Operations team by means of setting objectives, measuring, recognizing, and rewarding performance, and by coaching.
  • Oversee campaign planning for both Crop Protection and Professional Solutions, which includes the creation of processes, setting direction and expectations, and management of milestones and outputs.
  • Manage resource allocation on the team (internal and external freelancers).
  • Foster collaborative relationships and cross-functional opportunities with stakeholders across the commercial team.
  • Provide input to branding and content development to ensure alignment with marketing tactic plan
  • Manage budgets and expenses.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources in the areas of recruiting, role profiles, performance management, salary management and employee development.

This position is a 12 month contract.

Qualifications

Required skills:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business, Marketing or Communications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing and/or marketing communication/agency experience.
  • Supervisory experience which includes recruiting, motivating and managing people.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship marketing, and marketing communications principles.
  • Understanding of agriculture, marketplace dynamics, competitive environment and Syngenta customer needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relationship management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence others and manage and resolve conflict.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to recognize potential problems or new developments and take prompt remedial action where necessary to meet customer expectations and business requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate to a team while providing guidance and support.
  • Ability to think strategically, with a bigger picture view.
