Syngenta believes every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, the North America Vegetable Seeds team is currently seeking a Brand Strategy Lead in Woodland, CA.  This is an opportunity to develop 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Opportunity to develop new brand strategies and brand architecture for several B2B vegetable seeds Go-To-Market brands around the world
  • Responsible for developing distinct brand marketing strategies, encompassing tailored customer experience, brand identity, and voice in multiple markets -- such as Latin America, Africa Middle East, and Asia
  • Guardian of brand identity and voice, ensures customer experience is tailored to each go-to-market brand and a distinct brand experience and perception with growers.
  • Works closely with country teams to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and brand guardianships.
  • Leads territory and brand marketing teams to adapt branding to resonate with local culture, while keeping the brand true to targeted customer segment, brand guidelines, and brand differentiation principles.

Qualifications

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • More than 5 years of relevant industry experience in Brand Strategy or Customer Marketing, preferably in a B2B agriculture inputs industry such as chemicals, seeds, or fertilizer.
  • Knowledge of best practices in brand strategy development and implementation in new markets within the agriculture industry and experience leading adaptation of brands into global markets.
  • Strong understanding of the principals of brand management and experience. Familiarity with tools, technologies, and best practices associated with managing brand guidelines. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders and manage projects, timelines, and agencies to develop and implement brand strategies for a portfolio of multiple go-to-market brands.
  • Familiar with channel strategies and best practices in brand development. 
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills. PowerPoint skills must be advanced beyond basic slide making and include experience in storyboard development.

Salary Range $96,800 - $121,000
