Job description

Role purpose:

  • Lead the strategic development and management of the AMEA Biocontrol product portfolio and 3P strategic partnerships to drive sustainable agriculture solutions and business growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute AMEA biocontrol portfolio strategy aligned with Biologicals objectives and CP strategy
    • Identify portfolio gaps and opportunities
    • Prioritize projects based on market needs and business potential,
    • Conduct competitors’ pipeline, pricing/profitability analyses,
  • Work closely with DC/IC PLTs for PLCM and NPI alignment on positioning and business cases.
  • Ensure successful NPI launches, regulatory compliance and registration requirements
  • Define In/Out-licensing opportunities, identification of partners and drive implementation of collaboration (exploration, negotiations) & contracting processes (NDA, MTA, CDA) at AMEA level / coordinate at CU/BU and Global, and ensure alignment across functions (P&S, Finance, Legal, Procurement, CPD, etc.)
  • Collaborate with AMEA Product Biologists to run required tests and trials for early performance assessment
  • Ensure 3P Governance processes between Global/Regional/CU levels:
    • Attend Global Steering Com/BILP/BIP meeting, escalate AMEA projects &partnership status  – once per month (8 hours)
    • Run AMEA BILP meeting to share Global opportunities and review AMEA 3P projects
    • CU/BU alignment/3P projects status update – once per month at NPI PLT platform
  • Form and sustain close partnership with 3P on behalf of AMEA:
    • Implement regular business reviews with 3P partners (now: Agrauxine, Sicit, Ceres Biotics, Provivi, oth. )
    • Partner with Global for potential AMEA deals extension
    • Guide and support CU/BU with 3P deals implementation

Qualifications

 

  • Advanced degree in Agriculture, Biology, Microbiology, or related field
  • 5-7+ years experience in agriculture/biocontrol industry
  • Strong portfolio and project management skills
  • Business development experience
  • Technical expertise in biological control agents
