MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In this role, you will be responsible for solving problems in one or more core domains and languages; working with system design and architecture and core development tools, including testing on all levels of the quality pyramid; being able to work independently on most projects, delivering on time and on quality.
The main accountabilities of this role will be:
- Designing, developing, and scaling backend systems
- Building great user experiences by building new features and improving existing ones
- Evaluating and refine solutions to deliver performance and reliability
- Becoming an expert in backend development and expand across the stack and to various platforms and products
- Collaborating across the company to define how our platforms and products should evolve
- Collaborating with DevOps & SRE teams to monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure systems and improve DevOps culture in the team
- Developing and utilize your skills as a mentor and leader
- Supporting code quality, new technologies, and architectural design
Technologies we use: Python, Cloud Computing on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS, MSK, SNS, Redis and others)
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Software development experience +3
- Strong understanding of Python and APIs (building and consuming). Experience with microservices
- Understanding of AWS, Serverless deployments, and infrastructure as code and exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and container operation.
- Eager to understand how things work, to guide you in designing and debugging systems.
- Great at understanding and solving complex problems.
- Proud in building elegant and beautiful things, with outstanding quality.
- Open to the best tool for the job and excited to learn new technologies.
- Good communicator who can break down tricky topics in writing and in person.
- Willingness to help to build an inclusive culture and shape our future.
