Assistant Manager Quality- Seeds

ROLE PURPOSE:

• Manages the Operations of the Seeds Quality Control Laboratory.
• Assist the Quality Manager in the implementation of QMS
• Update Quality results to stakeholders.
• Implementation of QMS Module in SAP
• Customer Complaint Coordination and Management on Reliance and actively participate in RCA and CAPA plans.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Prepare and maintain record of all quality documents and upload documents in EtQ “document management” module further responsible to conduct review process for the documents which are due to review
• Manage all Seed Quality LAB operations, Training of Lab Resources
• Implement HSE standards in Lab and operations.
• Implement Global Quality COPs and conduct trainings where required
• Implement Global Quality Testing protocols in Seed testing LAB and prepare local procedures where required
• Use and implementation of SAP quality module
• Supervise Sampling Activity deliver training to Warehouse staff on regular intervals according to Sampling SOP
• Responsible for Quality testing in Seeds Lab
• Responsible for Field Emergence Testing of Seeds samples
• Implement Quality procedures in reworks activities in Warehouse (i.e. repackaging, revalidation, bulking or any other rework on need basis)
• Share plan of Sampling for Market Return stock, conduct Quality Testing, share results at Batch level and share reports with Quality remarks to stake holders and participate for deciding the inventory status
• Send regular reports to the Manager Quality Assurance about the activities in the laboratory
• Propose to the Manager Quality Assurance Seeds the capital investment requirements within the Seed LAB.
• Responsible to decide re-testing in questionable tests/cases.
• Actively participate at audits and conduct internal Audits and share reports
• Coordinate for Customer complaints and participate in RCA, Retesting (where required) and CAPA plan in reliance.
• Evaluate vendor performance in liaison with Manager Quality Assurance for Seed LAB supplies and with Warehouse staff for Rework Activities

• Agriculture Graduate with strong technical knowledge of Seed Science with 3+ years of experience. 
• Understanding of Quality Management System
• Technical knowledge of Seed Quality Management
• Understanding of Seed Act and Truth in labelling seeds rule
• Knowledge of MS Office & SAP
