Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities with internal Syngenta and external contract resource.
  • Develop and manage a dedicated maintenance budget that optimizes overall site costs and minimizes risk of lost sales.
  • Coordinate breakdown solution resolution to maintain high plant availability.
  • Develop and implement an effective preventive maintenance strategy.
  • Support the definition, approval and implementation of needed capital investment.
  • Coordinate the capability development and training validation of internal maintenance technicians.
  • Coordinate, control and audit external contracted technicians, technical specialist, contractors and services.
  • Capable for preparation of PLC Program, Logic & Solution as well as HMI design and tagging, hence project will be successfully done by SIEMENS TIA & Allen Bradley.
  • Capable to write details technical specifications for PLC interface and automation on equipment.
  • Must have an excellent knowledge of Electrical system, as well as Technology.
  • To Identify, cost justify, design, implement and manage new manufacturing automation system and equipment to improve plant productivity and reduce labor.
  • Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.
  • Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects with the assurance of health and safety codes are always obeyed.
  • Maintaining Safety Stocks of Spare parts & ensuring all budgetary requirements of Spare parts usage are met.
  • Should have knowledge on repair/ maintenance all kinds of electrical equipment's – Electrical Panel, Control panel, Filling & Packing Machines
  • Increasing Asset Intensity by analyzing Breakdown with the help of different problem-solving tools such as 5-why, BDA, GSTD and DMAIC.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering (Public university is preferred)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years hands on experience in Plant maintenance and automation works
  • The ideal applicants should have experience in the following area (s): Plant Maintenance, Understanding electrical Drawing, Project management, PLC programming knowledge
  • Having ABC license would be preferred.
