About this opportunity:

We are looking for an Asset Strategy Product Implementation Lead to lead the product and portfolio transfer activities in support of the ASAP programme and wider EAME CP FF&P strategies.  Delivering end-to-end process implementation by leading multi-functional teams; encompassing technical disciplines and functions in particular Formulation Development, Process Engineering, Production Sites. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a robust process to support end to end product transfer and introduction between Donor and Receiver sites. You will utilize your network and portfolio experience to facilitate knowledge transfer between relevant functions while providing a focal point for transfer and introduction activities for key stakeholders at operational, steering and governance level. This role includes development of the principle of Subject Matter Expert Community within the EAME networks in support of programme deliverables. You will support regional Asset Strategy initiatives with Technical functional competence

You will be accountable for:

  • Co-ordinating end-to-end product transfer and introductions.
  • Developing and implementing a robust process for managing and coordinating transfer activities aligned to regional project activities.
  • Delivering clear visibility of product technical status - progress through the key stages.
  • Identifying core team requirements – securing resource, ensuring all key functions are represented.
  • Leverage knowledge and expertise to ensure a comprehensive, holistic overview.
  • Developing network and knowledge sharing within core team structure, facilitating coaching/mentoring opportunities.
  • Driving introduction timelines, aligning with Operational and SCP setup Leads.
  • Ensuring compliance and alignment with overarching Syngenta operating frameworks e.g. PPCR, QCoPs etc.
  • Ensuring appropriate governance steps are in place and enacted,
  • Driving issue resolution - ensuring timely escalation, where required, to the relevant governance/steering teams.
  • Managing and delivering key stakeholder communications

  • Leading cross-functional alignment and collaboration
  • Effective networking - across a large span of work levels, functions and locations
  • Identifying coaching/mentoring opportunities to facilitate growth within core team.
  • Conflicting priority management through effective scoping, priority setting, resource allocation and delivery on commitments
  • Establishment and embedding of process driven culture wrt transfers.

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge:

  • A relevant scientific background e.g. process engineering, or other science/engineering related subject with proven manufacturing experience.
  • Large understanding of manufacturing and experience in transformation projects or capabilities assessment is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
  • Ability to think and work in complex structures.
  • Demonstrated influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and monitor multiple concurrent activities in order to meet ambitious timelines, influencing teams.
  • Must be mobile to travel and accompany project activity whenever required on sites.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within F, F&P network, including project delivery.
  • Robust experience in project management
  • Positive track record of high performance in current and previous roles

Critical experiences:

  • Educated to honors degree level or equivalent in a technical discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in CP F, F&P network
  • Substantial experience in project management
  • A track record of working with cross-functional teams, including external stakeholders.

Critical technical, professional & personal capabilities:

  • Competent in working in complex business and cross-functional environments.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, self-managing, tenacious, has a high concern for standards in self and others and is results orientated.
  • Good communication, rational persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Change/Project management skills
  • Is proactive and can work under pressure.
  • Good planning, organizational and time management skills

Additional Information

Extensive travel both within and outside the UK is likely.
