Role Purpose

The Asset Planner & Vendor scheduler will provide a production plan (up to a 12-month horizon) and maintain a plan accordingly to meet the customer and business requirements in the tactical planning horizon for our product ion lines, taking into account capacity needs/analysis for production requirements. Will work collaboratively with the regional supply planning team, vendors, and Site Management (Production, Engineering, Quality, HSE, Warehouse and etc) to ensure commitments are delivered in a timely manner.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedule and reports
  • Maintain & update Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling in the system.
  • Conduct performance & capacity analysis to highlight gaps for efficiency and performance improvements and generate reports
  • Lead weekly planning review meetings with the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Understand and supervise production plan misses and backfill these into subsequent week’s plan as the need arises.
  • Coordinate the execution of production plan by serving as a central communication hub between support functions
  • Execute materials purchase for raw materials and packaging materials for production fulfillment
  • Schedule and forecast supply and delivery of raw materials and packaging materials to the production line
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment to/from Syngenta’s plant in Tuas
  • Involved in NPI implementation for mass production
  • Ensure periodic review and maintenance of SAP master data (including AGI code creation, extensions, etc.)
  • Material inventory management – review and reconcile monthly inventory
  • Manage full tracking of raw material obsolescence, slow-moving stock and propose disposition
  • Support and develop documentation of work instructions and SOPs as part of continuous improvement of the planning functions and activities
  • Contribute towards the site's achievement of Syngenta's Health, Safety & Environment and Quality standards including ISOs. This involves a sound understanding of the HSEQ Management system

Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

  • Diploma/ Degree in Logistic & Supply Chain Or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, or related field
  • Experience is managing 3rd party logistics operations is preferred but not mandatory

Critical Technical, Professional And Personal Capabilities

  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, Power point)
  • Hands-on experience in using SAP (R3) and APO or similar systems
  • Able to interpret BOM (preferred)
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, responsible, meticulous with a positive working attitude
  • Fast learner and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly customer-oriented and self-driven individual with hands-on ability
