Job description

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan developer to design, build, and maintain complex commercial, financial, and operational models within the Anaplan platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data analysis, and a deep understanding of Anaplan's capabilities.

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Design and develop sophisticated Anaplan models to support business planning, forecasting, and analysis
  • Design and ensure high customer experience through easy to use User Interface (UI) and Dashboards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Anaplan solutions
  • Perform data transformation and loads from other downstream systems such as SAP IBP
  • Optimize existing models for performance and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve model issues
  • Provide training and support to end-users
  • Stay up-to-date with Anaplan's latest features and best practices

Primary location: Cambridge or Manchester, UK.

Qualifications

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Anaplan
  • Proficiency in building Anaplan models
  • Ability to design and implement complex Anaplan solutions
  • Creating of dashboards and curation of UI Designs
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and business information into various forms of documentation for diverse audience types (non-technical business teams, technical teams, system administrators, and integrators)
  • Skill in optimizing model performance and reducing calculation times
  • Understanding of Anaplan's Hyperblock technology and its implications
  • Anaplan Model Builder Certification
  • Anaplan Solution Architect Certification
  • Project and portfolio management experience in agile and waterfall
  • Experience with Anaplan Connect and other integration methods
  • Experience with Anaplan APIs for extending functionality
  • Financial and Business Acumen
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
