Job description

Role Purpose

Drive sustainable, profitable market share growth of Weed Control business. Build a competitive pipeline, commercialise current pipeline and drive strategy of commercialised products

Accountabilities

  • Lead multi-functional portfolio leadership teams (PLTs) which co-create and co-own designated Regional product and portfolio plans (working together with the countries, capturing the regional dynamics, while aligning to global strategies):
  • Monitor NPI and overall portfolio performance, mitigate risks and drive opportunity capture and initiate actions as needed, including the plans to address the FTO risks
  • Lead annual Country Portfolio Review process for designated products and crops;
    • Focus on Stars and Cores (as per Portfolio Categorization process)
    • Ensure strong crop and brand plans are in place
    • Define portfolio gaps, 3rd Party targets
    • Agree portfolio plans with Global Product Management
    • Track projects and ensure on target against the committed 5 year Business Plan
    • Identify commercial capability gaps and develop a plan together with CE team, specific for the different countries.
  • Support development of commodity management and pricing guidance approach.
  • Drive portfolio segmentation for the product line and work with an e2e enterprise view on management of products.
  • Lead the long-term view on the product line, especially with a view on sustainability, digital and data, and reaching growers at scale.

  • 10+ years of sales & marketing management, often customer facing, preferably in diverse countries in strategic and operational roles,
  • Leading cross functional teams
  • Influencing senior stakeholders

Critical technical, professional, and personal capabilities

  • Marketing and Business acumen
  • Ability to build partnerships
  • E2E business understanding
  • CP product and crop agronomy expertise
  • Communication and people skills

This position can be based in any of our locations: Izmir (Turkey), Pune (India), Moscow (Russia), or Bangkok (Thailand).
