Role Purpose

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Digital strategy for AME (Africa/Middle east) is executed by utilizing the regional digital products.
  • Enables countries to shape up the projects on the digital space and helps run these projects with the Digital product team.
  • Enables the proper framework to ensure digital products are adopted once they are delivered.
  • Enable the countries of AME to shape up Digital business operation teams wherever necessary.
  • Primary focus is CP for AME, Secondary focus is specific to Centrgio.

Accountabilities

  • Understands the AME digital strategy and see how country level pain points and future ambitions are taken care of by this digital strategy.
  • Break down the digital strategy into actionable projects for the different AME countries and see which digital products of AMEA are fit for purpose.
  • Enable the AME countries to shape up the various digital projects while guiding them to use the frameworks developed by AMEA digital product team.
  • Understand where regional products will be fit for purpose vs where we need to invest in local products.
  • Helps product managers plan their product roadmaps and delivery plans for AME specific needs.
  • Enables business colleagues to shape up Project charters, EPICs, Project plans etc.in consultation with the AMEA digital product managers.
  • Takes up high level requirement and breaks them down into proper business user story format and pass it on to the Digital product teams.
  • Is able to map out the acceptance criteria of the different requirements.
  • Is able to prepare the country colleagues for User Acceptance testing and giving proper sprint feedbacks.
  • Validates that the developed solution meets the requirements.
  • Runs User Acceptance Testing once the feature is delivered.
  • Establishes go-live criteria.
  • Jointly responsible along with the Product Manager for the final delivery of the solutions.
  • Enables launch plans of the app/new feature and can design digital operations surrounding the digital tools.
  • Specific to Centrigo, can ensure the business needs are met with the Centrigo center portal.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Technology roles.
  • Degree in technology or business but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in a similar capacity in other companies, or within Syngenta.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive team player
  • Project Management methodology awareness.
  • Expertise in Agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of release and test management processes
