We are currently seeking an Account Development Lead for our Iowa and Illinois-based Golden Harvest Seed Sales team. The role involves coordinating reseller recruitment with Seed Sales Representatives across the district. Territory: Northern Illinois & Northeast Iowa
What you will be doing?
- Securing new points of sale and developing them into trusted advisors and advocates for Golden Harvest
- Working with Seed Sales Representatives across Illinois to ensure consistency and year around focus on the recruiting campaign
- Developing and implementing best practices for successful launches of new businesses
- Bringing consistency to the onboarding process and supporting the training efforts of new dealers
- Work with the Account Development team and the District Manager to set appropriate recruiting targets
- Partner with Sales Team to achieve annual recruiting and retention targets
- Ensure proper contract management by working with Sales Operations and Finance
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to build and execute Seed Advisor onboarding process
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Agriculture or relevant discipline
- 5+ years of active Sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership teams
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
