  • Comply with company HSE policies, principles, and guidelines for personal and organizational safety
  • Follow the Site Quality policy and Global QCoP guidelines, emphasizing quality as a key enabler to deliver customer value
  • Lead site engineering team with care, fostering their professional development to build a resilient & future-fit team
  • Maintain excellent industrial relationships with unionized non-management teams, contractors, and service providers
  • Oversee asset reliability, maintenance, and project execution
  • Maintain technical regulatory and HSE compliance
  • Prepare, implement, and control annual CapEx and OpEx budgets
  • Ensure 24x7 utility availability
  • Maintain site facilities and infrastructure as per company standards and industry benchmarks
  • Manage engineering spare parts inventory
  • Maintain professional relationships with OEMs, regional Process and Engineering teams, and regional maintenance leads
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within the department and collaborate with site ManEx journey
  • Collaborate with country and regional stakeholders for technical projects and initiatives
  • Develop and implement improvements to maintenance management practices
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns and machine failures
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and C&F teams for effective and timely completion of projects and major maintenance
  • Serve as Site Coordinator for Syngenta Sustainability Program
  • Facilitate various internal/external audits as per company requirements
  • Assist Site Manager with strategic decision-making, site long-term roadmap preparation and implementation
  • Conduct training needs assessments for direct reports and facilitate training as needed
  • Develop multiskilled teams with succession plans and talent segmentation
  • Assess, develop, and improve vendor competency

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university

  • 9-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in similar MNC/FMCG organizations, including 2-3 years of team management capability

  • Experience in SAP, ARIBA, SmartSheet, PowerApp, and PowerBI will be an added advantage

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
