Job description

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Hiring Team is seeking a Coordenador(a) de Excelência de Manufatura I in Paulínia - State of São Paulo, Brazil . 

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage process engineering team across diverse project types (FNEW, NPI, Tech Transfer, expansions) while optimizing resource allocation and providing manufacturing support on highly complex technical challenges;
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of technical deliverables by reviewing and validating test reports, process descriptions, technical evaluations, productivity estimates, and developing recommendations for plant adaptations including PFDs;
  • Drive technical excellence through process risk analyses (PRA/HAZOP), conducting studies, laboratory tests, plant trials for complex projects, and collaborating with global peers for knowledge exchange;
  • Manage complete people cycle including goal setting, IDPs, feedback, succession planning, performance assessments, training, and team development aligned with career expectations and organizational needs;
  • Provide strategic leadership by participating in project meetings, PT&E leadership forums, budget planning and monitoring, while ensuring technical understanding of product applications, risks, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree Chemical Engineering, Process/Production Engineering or correlated areas;
  • Advanced/Fluent English;
  • Understanding of industrial formulation processes and concepts à Experience with chemical or agrochemical processes;
  • People and Project Management;
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team;
  • Experience working with manufacturing plant personnel to effectively transfer technologyExperience and credibility working across critical interfaces with including with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Quality and Tolling. Advanced knowledge on management system methodologies (PDCA, PDSA, Balanced Scorecard, Lean Management System) or ability to attain this rapidly.
